Week 29# (19) 100 Word Challenge.

The Greasy Gnome.

The Greasy Gnome was a Gnome that was greasy like an brown eighties hair cut. So one day he was going around like his greasy self when these kids bullied him.

He killed them with his pistol because they had hurt his feelings.

Later his chocolate melted and boy was he mad. He decided to eat some fries. Again he got mad. There was to much salt. Then there was a knock on the door.  He opened it and it was the Giraffe Police and they were not pleased. He was sentenced to death by kitty cat.

The “Red Baron”- my week 9 quality post :,)

The Red Baron or his real name Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen ( geez thats a mouthful) , was a German fighter pilot in the First World War. He was the best fighter ace on earth to be honest, because he has been credited 80 air combat victories! Now in case you don’t know that’s amazing.

He flew the original Fokker DR1 Dreidecker was one of the best planes in those days.

The Red Baron was born on 2nd of May 1892 and died on the 21st of April 1918 but more on that later.

He served from 1911 to 1918 and in that time he had been given many awards in his time including… Pour le Merite, Order of the Red Eagle, House Order of  Hohenzollern and last but absolutely NOT lest the Iron Cross.

When he was a young lad he joined the military and became a part of the Unlan. The Unlan was a Polish light cavalry armed with lances, sabres and pistols. Unlan means “young man” and/or “brave warrior”.

So the Red Baron died in 1918, shot down by allied forces so the great man was gone but he forever will be the best pilot who flew in the sky.
